My recent post on my lining up song was a big hit so, I decided to add another song that I’ve used and also open it up for my first linky party so you can share the songs you use in your classroom.
I use this one to help students get to the carpet area quickly. I usually tell students in my directions how many times I will sing it before they need to be at the carpet in their ready positions (legs crossed, arms folded mouths quiet and eyes forward). Students usually sing along as they come to the carpet which also keeps the talking as they come to a minimum. Click on the play button on the ipadio insertion below to hear our song.
We all learn from each other, and I’d love to hear and read about the songs you use in your classroom. Bloggers can link up their posts below. If you’re not a blogger, please leave a comment to tell us about the songs you use in your classroom.
